With the help of load balancing, the work of a computer, for example, can be divided. This is usually done by outsourcing partial work processes to other computers that are connected to the load balancer’s network. This allows several system requests to be processed within a very short time. The load balancer also ensures that the entire network of computers remains stable and is not overloaded.
If, in addition, a computer is not available due to malfunctions, the load of the computer can be shifted to other computers.
